Christine Payseur's Journey and Challenge

YAHOO!!! I HAVE MET THE MINIMUM GOAL! THANKS TO ALL OF MY GENEROUS CONTRIBUTORS! WITHOUT YOU THIS WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE!

READ ALL ABOUT MY 2002 3-DAY WALK AND EXPERIENCE!

Hi, my name is Christine Payseur and I have a challenge for you. Did you know there are over one million women in America with undetected breast cancer? And are you aware that men can develop breast cancer too? If I told you there was something YOU could do to help them find out early enough to survive, how far would YOU be willing to go?

Anyone that knows me, knows that I love a challenge... tell me I can't do something... and that will motivate me to prove otherwise. More so, I have a deep rooted faith and belief that I "can do all things through Christ who strengthens me"... so here's a biggie for me and I'm asking for your support.

Having been diagnosed myself this past year with bone marrow cancer (primarily in the spine), in addition to living with Lupus for the past 10 years, I will find this to be one of the greatest challenges of my life, physically, emotionally, and spiritually but I believe "nothing is impossible!"

The weekend of July 12 - 14, I will be joining over 3,000 participants in the Avon Breast Cancer 3-day, 72 hour, 60-mile walk from San Jose to San Francisco, in an effort to raise money to combat breast cancer. As part of my commitment to this event, I agreed to raise at least $1,900 in pledges by June 14. The net proceeds from the event will benefit Avon’s Breast Cancer Awareness Crusade, a non-profit accredited public charity.

I am walking for not only for myself, but as a tribute to my aunts, cousins, and others I have known that have been lost through or survived breast cancer. I am walking to celebrate all breast cancer survivors and to help all the special women in my life, including my daughters, who may one day benefit from the research and early detection projects that this event will help fund. My mission has been to raise the funds I committed to and to finish the 3-Day walk. If you can help me meet this goal, it would be greatly appreciated. Contributions of ALL amounts are equally appreciated. Prayers are good too!

IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO DONATE! TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFRENECE AND WIN THIS FIGHT!

Since the donation deadline was June 14, you can now mail your donation form and contribution directly to me and I and I will bring them to Day Zero myself, where they'll be recorded. Your payment can also be split into 10-monthly installments.

Thank you in advance and again to all of my supporters. Remember, each mile I walk will be a personal challenge and also dedicated in honor of a breast cancer survivor or to someone we have lost to the disease.
